As the Controller for the Texas Immigration Law Council, Sarah supports impactful programmatic efforts through strategic financial management. Prior to joining the Texas Immigration Law Council, Sarah served as the Controller for the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation. She also previously served as Director of Finance & Operations for Houston Volunteer Lawyers. In these roles, Sarah discovered her passion for service and ensuring that nonprofit resources were thoughtfully managed to support community services and legal aid initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, cum laude, from the University of Houston–Downtown.
