Jessica Cisneros is the Managing Attorney at the Texas Immigration Law Council. Prior to joining the team, Jessica served at RAICES as the supervising attorney for the Laredo Removal team and as a staff attorney for the Family Detention/Expedited Removal team. Since graduating from The University of Texas School of Law in 2018, Jessica has dedicated herself to providing pro bono legal services to low-income families and asylum-seekers facing immigration detention and those affected by ever-changing border policies. Jessica hopes to use her removal defense experience, her advocacy for South Texas communities, and her upbringing on the U.S.-Mexico border to continue cultivating projects and coalitions necessary to educate and to create better immigration policy.
