Priscilla Lugo is the Policy & Communications Manager of the Texas Immigration Law Council. Priscilla is the daughter of immigrants from Mexico and comes from the border in South Texas and is dedicated to fighting for her community and building systems to protect the rights of immigrants. She works at the intersection of immigration, the carceral system, and storytelling. She has her BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs.
